This last Saturday was the last day for the Moscow Farmers Market until next spring. I was personally thrilled about this market because I've been helping the City of Moscow's art department with the market. They are my client for my JAMM 350 class. So they asked me to put together a goodbye/thank you poster for the vendors and sponsors. It looked great! It took me a while to get the dimensions down and get all the names down. Phew* There are quite a lot. As I walked over to the booth I noticed that there weren't all the regular booths there. There was a shortage of vendors and people. I would think that maybe there would be a lot of people there since it was the last market. Oh well.
My boyfriend and I grabbed a bagel from the Moscow Bagel Shop then headed back to the market to pick up a $4 half gallon of fresh apple cider, and wow is it good! Too bad I won't be able to get some more of the same. Despite the market being over until next year I will continue to work for the arts department and help them with the public relations side of things. They are looking forward to a newsletter template, website design, and blog site.
So until next spring the farmers market will be dearly missed. But I'm sure I can check out the Co-Op for apple cider and Tuesday's for the mini market.
